We won an award! I can’t believe it! Just a couple of hours before our first public showing I received an official letter from Indie Fest saying that Jenny’s Book of Twilight won an Award of Merit in the Feature Film category. I am very excited and deeply honored. It feels so great to be appreciated for all the hard work. Hopefully this is the first award of many. Let’s keep our fingers crossed. Here is some more info about the Festival:
“The Indie Fest is about helping independent filmmakers gain credibility and publicity. The primary goal of traditional film festivals is to bring entertainment to local audiences which makes filmmakers of secondary importance. The Indie Fest is not a traditional film festival, it is an international awards competition. Serving filmmakers is our first and only goal.

Best of Show honors are granted only if worthy productions are discovered. Likewise, no more than 15% of entries are granted Awards of Excellence. Notable artistic and technical productions are recognized at the Award of Merit award level.”
